ABOUT THE DESIGNS:

Knit cuff-down, using the heel-flap and gusset, and wedge toe construction, these sock patterns are a great way to start your love affair with sock knitting.

Colorful is a 2-color stranded color-work sock pattern, using the same design aesthetic as the Textureful version. While the sock construction is the same, and there is nothing more difficult than an ssk in the pattern, it does require confidence to dive into making a pair of color-work socks.

Textureful is a texture based sock pattern that will highlight any tonal yarn with the dips and waves of the knit and purl stitches. It is the perfect pattern for any beginner knitter looking to knit their first pair of socks.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS: The Lombard Socks pattern is written assuming circular needles, size 1.5 US/2.5 mm.

YARN: This pattern is worked up in fingering weight yarn, with sock yarn being preferable for longer durability.
