WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR YARN?
We source our bare yarn from several suppliers in the US and UK, all of whom use muesling-free farms. We carry primarily Superwash Merino and Superwash Merino blends.

DO YOU TAKE ANY STEPS TO OPERATE IN AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MANNER?
We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible - reusing water, using leftover dyes to create "flakes", and recyclable packaging.

CAN WE PURCHASE YOUR YARN IN ANY BRICK AND MORTAR STORES?
At this time, no. We are definitely interested in pursuing wholesale opportunities, though. We are also actively working on attending fibre festivals in Northern/Southern Ontario, with plans to expand into other areas in the future.

HOW DO YOUR SHOP UPDATES WORK?
We are a dyed-to-order shop, so we don't actually have "updates" in the traditional sense. Rather, you can order our colourways on available bases anytime. However, we do have collection "launches" several times a year, some of which come with limited time products. In that case, notice is given on the home page, in our newsletter, and on our social media. These particular products will have a limited purchase window.
Ready to Ship skeins, unless being combined with another order, can be expected to ship within a week.
Dyed to order skeins, unless otherwise stated, will ship between 4 and 6 weeks from order date.

WILL ALL MY YARN LOOK THE SAME?
We dye in small batches, so variation between and within dye lots is to be expected. If you are making a big project, like a garment, we recommend purchasing the entire amount needed at once for best results.
Alternating skeins is also always recommended to help blend these differences in your projects.

WILL MY YARN BLEED?
Every effort is taken to set the dyes during the dyeing process, and all skeins are washed to remove any excess dye particles present. However, bleeding may still occur. Bleeding is more likely to occur with dark/rich colors (reds, blues, pinks, bold neons). I recommend washing/blocking projects in cold water to keep bleeding at a minimum.

DOES YOUR YARN REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE?
To preserve your makes (wear, shape, colour), I highly recommend hand washing all items using wool wash, and laying flat to dry. Superwash wools can be machine washed on the delicate cycle with cold water should you choose.

Orders will be combined where possible, and overages of more than $4CAD will be refunded.
